The Telegraph state that Wright will be part of ITV’s coverage of the Lionesses’ Euro 2025 semi-final against Italy on Tuesday night in . The report adds he was not originally part of the broadcaster’s punditry lineup but is expected to join USWNT boss Emma Hayes, ex-England international Karen Carney, and presenter Laura Woods.

This is the first time Wright has appeared as a pundit on a Lionesses game for ITV since Aluko claimed in April that he was dominating punditry in women’s football and blocking opportunities for women. The 61-year-old, who later did not accept the former striker’s apology, has been covering the Euros on his Crossways podcast with former England captain Steph Houghton, so is very much up to speed with the competition.
