The first so-called ‘Hollywood ديربي‘ of the 2024-25 campaign took place at St Andrew’s in September. Said contest saw the Blues lock horns with Welsh rivals – who are co-owned by actors Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney.
Brady jetted into the UK for said contest, and was joined in the stands by Manchester متحد legend Beckham. They witnessed a 3-1 victory for Chris Davies’ side, with that fixture figuring prominently on the new Amazon Prime Video documentary ‘Built in برمنغهام: Brady u0026amp; the Blues’.

It’s a sweet thing. He doesn’t have to wear it.”
Birmingham were happy to present ريكسهام co-owner McElhenney with a gift, as he also attended the game, with a personalised Blues shirt passed his way. The ‘It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia’ actor is seen joking: “What am I supposed to do with that?”
Birmingham and Wrexham went on to secure automatic promotion, with the Blues landing the الدوري الأول title with a record-breaking haul of 111 points. Their rivalry will be rekindled in the بطولة, with both sides spending big in the summer transfer market.
