City’s ongoing legal battle is one of the biggest football stories in recent years and if found guilty, Pep Guardiola’s team could be heavily punished. While trophies being stripped may not be on the cards, hefty points deductions have been mooted that could potentially see City relegated from the top-flight.
While Mourinho may be eager to get a rise out of his great rival Guardiola, the Spaniard is unlikely to respond to this latest jibe. In the meantime, both Fenerbahce and City are busy preparing for the new season, with Mourinho’s side due to return to action in the دوري أبطال أوروبا third-round qualifiers in early August.
