Financial Fair Play concerns had limited the Villans’ early summer moves, but the imminent €40m (£34m/$43m) sale of Jacob Ramsey to Newcastle is set to free up funds for reinforcements. Unai Emery is a long-time admirer of Asensio, valuing his versatility and attacking threat.
