Mbeumo swapped برينتفورد ل متحد in a deal worth up to £71 million ($95.5m) earlier this week, with many fans hopeful of seeing him in action in a pre-season friendly against West Ham. United have high hopes for Mbeumo, especially after making him one of their most expensive signings ever. The 25-year-old needs to hit the ground running as the Premier League giants try and bounce back from a dreadful season in 2024/25. But easing him in may be a sensible move ahead of the new campaign.
Portuguese coach Amorim has ruled Mbeumo out of playing against بورنموث on Thursday, but is hopeful the ex-Bees star can feature against إيفرتون on Sunday as United round off their United States pre-season tour.
