Madueke’s £52m ($70m) switch from is expected to be completed imminently, with the winger missing the Blues’ Club final win to iron out the final details of the move. Sky Sports reports the player will complete his medical later today. That deal will likely make Trossard surplus to requirements, with the Belgian now free to complete a switch to , according to The Times.

Reports suggest Trossard agreed personal terms with the Turkish giants after talks with Jose Mourinho, who was able to convince the player of his vision and project. Talks over a contract renewal between the north London club and the 30-year-old winger reached an impasse earlier this summer, while the signing of Madueke and pursuit of other left-sided attacker signalled Trossard would slip down the pecking order at the Emirates.

Trossard joined from in January 2023, for an initial fee of £20m, plus £7m in add-ons. He has scored 28 goals in 124 appearances for the club.
