According to TEAMtalk, Brentford are targeting forward Daizen Maeda if Wissa is sold this summer. The report adds that the Bees have been in contact with the Japanese international’s entourage, with the 27-year-old valued at around £25 million ($33.6m) by the Scottish giants.

With Bryan Mbeumo set to join in a deal worth up to £71m ($95m), Brentford will charge a large fee for fellow forward Wissa. It remains to be seen if Wissa, who has been the subject of multiple bids from Forest in the region of £20-25m ($27-33.6m), will stay at Brentford for the upcoming season. The exit of manager Thomas Frank to Tottenham may lead to an exodus at the Bees.
