Under their new management, Lyon are looking to void several of former investor John Textor’s pre-agreed deals, including Turner’s move from Forest. Since then, the club have focused on financial stability, highlighted by the departures of Alexandre Lacazette and Rayan Cherki. Lyon now believe the €8m fee for Turner is excessive for a backup goalkeeper and inconsistent with their new financial approach.
