- Rashford and Garnacho set to leave Man Utd
- Amad reacted to the duo’s exit
- Rashford close to joining Barcelona
Amad was part of the Red Devils’ travelling squad to Stockholm, who faced Leeds متحد in their first pre-season friendly on Saturday. Ruben Amorim left behind five exiled players – Rashford, Garnacho, Jadon Sancho, Antony and Tyrell Malacia in Manchester as his team played out a goalless draw.
Rashford’s move to Barcelona looks certain, while Garnacho has attracted interest from Chelsea and Napoli, however, the club are yet to come up with a concrete offer. After the clash in Sweden, Amad shared his opinion on the duo exiting Old Trafford this summer.
Speaking to reporters, the 23-year-old said: “Well, the only thing I can say is good luck to him, but I’m more focused on United and my team. I think this is not really my problem. The only thing I’m thinking right now is how we will learn together as a team and yeah, that’s the only thing I’m trying to think about right now.”
The Red Devils will now jet off to the U.S. for the remainder of pre-season and will next face West Ham on July 26 at MetLife Stadium.
