- Spurs join race to sign Rodrygo
- Levy on good terms with Real
- Ready to compete with Arsenal & Liverpool
Spurs have been busy this summer, signing Mohammed Kudus from West Ham and making Mathys Tel’s loan move a permanent transfer. They have also been pushing to sign Morgan Gibbs-White from Nottingham Forest, although the transfer talks have now stalled amid a legal battle.
As the squad rebuilding continues, Tottenham chairman Levy has now shifted his focus to ريال مدريد star Rodrygo. AS reports that the British businessman is looking to exploit his “good relationship” with the Spanish giants to lower the Brazilian winger’s €90 million ($104m/£76m) price tag. The 24-year-old has attracted interest from top clubs like Liverpool, Arsenal and Bayern Munich, however, Los Blancos have yet to receive a formal offer.
Rodrygo is currently enjoying a well-earned vacation in the U.S. and he will only take a final decision on his future at Santiago Bernabeu after holding a discussion with manager Xabi Alonso.
Alonso’s men will kick off their 2025-26 La Liga campaign on August 19 as they take on أوساسونا at home in their season opener, but it remains to be seen if Rodrygo will feature.
