Spurs have signed Kudus from West Ham in a deal worth £55 million ($75m), and the winger has now come face-to-face with Micky van de Ven. The pair had an infamous clash in last season’s London derby, as the Ghana international pushed the Dutchman in the face after being sent off, and was subsequently handed a five-match ban. James Maddison couldn’t resist stirring the pot as he sat opposite van de Ven at lunch at Hotspur Way.

Spurs’ media also posted a video showing Van de Ven and Kudus shaking hands at the training ground, with the club aware of the viral potential of such a moment. Kudus scored in the derby, but West Ham lost 4-1.
