البرازيل and Santos superstar Neymar is a huge DC Comics fan, having attended the premiere of The Batman in 2022 – allowing him to pose with actors Robert Pattinson and Zoe Kravitz. He has also sported Batman-themed outfits in football locker rooms and dressed up as the Joker for Halloween.
He now owns a unique piece of franchise memorabilia. According to O Globo Neymar has invested in a replica Batmobile that was designed by Adhemar Cabral and featured in the Batman Begins, The Dark Knight and The Dark Knight Rises films.
The vehicle in question is equipped with a V8 engine, which delivers 500 horsepower, and includes a rear flamethrower. It took 50 people three years to painstakingly build and has been transferred from the Dream Car Museum in Sao Roque to Neymar’s private estate.
The Batmobile has been added to Neymar’s fleet of luxury cars, which includes an Audi R8 Spyder V10 Plus, the Ferrari Purosangue, multiple Bentley Continental GTs, the Aston Martin DBX, and the Lamborghini Huracan.
At 33 years of age, and back where it all began for him at Santos, Brazil’s all-time leading goalscorer has treated himself to an extraordinary gift. The one-of-a-kind Batmobile cannot, however, be legally driven on public roads, meaning that Neymar may struggle to get behind the wheel.n
