Transfer guru Fabrizio Romano reports that Milan have discussed the financial details for a possible Hojlund loan, which includes covering his estimated £110,000-per-week wages. It had been reported on Saturday that United are open to a deal due to their strengthened attacking options. With Joshua Zirkzee also available, the Dane faces a real battle for game time under Ruben Amorim.
It has been made very clear that Amorim is not planning to rely on Hojlund, as the Danish striker was not afforded a single minute of play in Saturday’s pre-season friendly with فيورنتينا. Mason Mount was instead given the start in a false nine, with Amorim praising his efforts up top.
