Madueke has been excluded, as the newly-acquired winger is rested after his exploits for Chelsea at the Club World Cup. The squad is the expected blend of senior stars and highly-rated prospects.

While these pre-season festivities and preparations are kicking off, Arsenal’s brain trust will be working hard on securing the services of Sporting CP‘s Viktor Gyokeres. The two clubs are still hammering out details over the terms of add-on fees in a deal that could be worth around £69m ($95m).
