Amorim’s Manchester متحد have gotten off to their worst Premier League start in 33 years after the 3-0 loss to local rivals مانشستر سيتي kept them stuck on just four points in as many games. Fans are now pointing out that former boss Solskjaer was unfairly booted out in 2021 and have urged the Red Devils to replace Amorim with the Norwegian coach, who is currently out of a job after being sacked by بشيكتاش.

@jonmikesav8 added: “I see quite a few are suggesting we have short memories regarding Solskjaer’s time at UTD. They are quoting the results that cost him his job. That’s fair. But what is also fair is the 10 wins from 11 at the start. Also, the 29-game unbeaten away streak. And a lot of it was glorious.”
@UtdDefence wrote: “Look at the standards. 168 games Solskjaer managed. From 168, they found six really bad results to classify his tenure as a disaster. Three of those had Red Cards which affected nature of the outcome. You know what, Ole might actually have been doing an even better job than I remembered.”
The X user added: “Why are people scared to openly speak the truth? THE MOST ENJOYABLE FOOTBALL AND FOOTBALL CLOSE TO BEING WORTHY OF MANCHESTER UNITED IN THE POST-SIR ALEX ERA WAS PLAYED UNDER OLE GUNNAR SOLSKJAER. There, I said it. Hate me all you want.”
@ronutd77 asked: “Would you give Ole Gunnar solskjær another chance as a Manchester United Coach?” with photos of a several good results under Solskjaer, including the 9-0 win over ساوثهامبتون.
@Utdrules4ever concluded: “This might not sit right with some, but I honestly believe if INEOS had been running things when Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was in charge, United would be in a much better place today. We might not have won the league, but at least United would be heading in the right direction and definitely a lot closer than where we are now. Ole had the team playing decent football. There was rhythm, belief, and hope at times. For me, the worst appointment after him was Erik ten Hag and right now, Amorim is giving him a run for his money.”
Ex-Premier League midfielder Jamie O’Hara is also on board with the idea of bringing the former striker back to Old Trafford: “This is the worst Man United team I’ve seen,” O’Hara said on talkSPORT. “Honestly. I can’t believe Ruben Amorim is still in charge, honestly, when are they going to let it go?
“When are they going to just…do what Sheffield United have done, just swallow their pride [and say] ‘we got this wrong?’ Get Ole [Gunnar Solskjaer] back…get Ole back in. They can’t carry on doing this. They’ll go down. They’ll be playing Rotherham next season.”
Despite Manchester United asking INEOS to bring Solskjaer to Old Trafford, The Mirror’s reported list of candidates to succeed Amorim does not have any space for the Norwegian club legend. The list currently boasts names such as كريستال بالاس boss Oliver Glasner, former إنجلترا head coach Gareth Southgate, فولهام‘s Marco Silva and بورنموث‘s Andoni Iraola, with ex-توتنهام boss and current USA head coach, Mauricio Pochettino, also said to be considered.
As per reports, while Manchester United are publicly backing Amorim to stay on as head coach, the Portuguese coach will be given leeway until the October international break. If results do not come, the Red Devils will officially make the call to sack the coach, who has been at Old Trafford for less than a year.
