برايتون "لا يخشى" خسارة كارلوس باليبا لصالح مانشستر يونايتد، بينما يكشف مدرب سيجلز فابيان هورزيلر عن سبب "عدم خوفه" من الاقتراب من الرقم القياسي

Brighton boss Fabian Hurzeler has made a bold claim that he does not fear losing Carlos Baleba this transfer window, despite the midfielder being strongly linked with a move to Manchester United. After making key additions such as Benjamin Sesko, Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo, Ruben Amorim now wants to strengthen his midfield.

Despite the Red Devils’ strong interest in Baleba, Hurzeler claimed that he is not afraid of losing any of his first-team players, as he called for his own team to stay for the 2025-26 campaign. Brighton are reluctant to sell their star midfielder and could only be convinced to sanction a sale if an offer arrives in excess of £100 million ($135m).u0026nbsp;

Speaking on BBC’s Monday Night Club podcast, the Seagulls boss was asked if he was afraid of losing key players, to which he replied: “No chance. I don’t feel fear. I’m not afraid of anything because the only thing we can do is be the best version we can be every day, like work as hard as we can.u0026nbsp;

“All the other things we can’t influence, so we really have to focus on us. For sure, we can’t spend the money like the big teams but one of our biggest values is togetherness. And if you stay together, if we try to push our limits and increase the boundaries, then I’m sure we can compete with the big teams.”

The 32-year-old German coach added: “We as a club always find solutions and I’m sure in the future we will find solutions. That’s our model, we have to accept it. I think that as a club we have proved we are not only selling big players. We have had offers for other players – big offers for [Kaoru] Mitoma and other players. We proved that we are not selling every player.

“Of course, there were some big players who left the club, but there are new players that are coming into the club. With the togetherness we have, with the team chemistry we have, we can compete with the big teams, and we can compete with teams who might be individually better than us.”

Brighton will kick-start their 2025-26 Premier League campaign on Saturday as they host at the Amex Stadium. They will hope to have Baleba to call upon.
