- Grealish facing uncertain future
- Has been linked with Napoli
- De Bruyne has already signed for الدوري الإيطالي champions
De Bruyne waved an emotional farewell to مانشستر سيتي at the end of last season and has gone on to secure a move to Serie A champions Napoli. Grealish has also been linked with a move to Antonio Conte’s side, with the Napoli boss said to have made the playmaker his top summer target.
Grealish has also been training in إيطاليا, fuelling speculation about a move to Napoli, although he is also believed to have attracted interest from الدوري الإنجليزي الممتاز sides Everton و وست هام. De Bruyne has now been quizzed on his former team-mate’s plans for the future ahead of the start of the new 2025-26 season.
De Bruyne was asked if Grealish has asked him about Napoli and told the كورييري ديلو سبورت: “Maybe… Maybe.”
The Belgian star then spoke about his own move: “In إنجلترا, we’re organising the move: we still have to get a house, move our things, our three children, and be ready for school in September. There’s a lot of work to do, and I’m often away. My wife, Michèle, will probably come at the end of August with the children. After ten years in England, we’ll have to get used to a new way of life, but I’m sure everything will be fine.”
Grealish will hope his future can be decided before the start of the season. The 29-year-old was left out of Manchester City’s Club كأس العالم squad, and does not appear to be part of the club’s plans, but is eager to play regularly next season in a bid to try and secure a place in Thomas Tuchel’s England squad for the 2026 World Cup.
