According to The Athletic, Leeds have discussed signing Liverpool winger Ben Doak, and sources close to the player and the Reds indicate Daniel Farke’s team have expressed interest in the 19-year-old.
The report adds that Liverpool rejected offers of around £20m ($27m) for Doak in January and value him at around the same amount now. If they do not receive that sort of offer, the Reds are ‘happy’ to retain him as a squad option. Whether Leeds, West Ham, and others stump up that kind of cash, though, remains to be seen.
According to Sky Sports, West Ham are also keeping tabs on the Scotland international, as are موناكو و بولونيا. Doak, who spent last season on loan at ميدلسبره, is believed to be seeking regular first-team football for the upcoming campaign.
With just over three weeks of the summer transfer window to go, time is running out for a potential Doak suitor to secure the services of the young Scot. Incidentally, his contract at Anfield expires in 2026.
