However, Flick was not impressed by the team’s intensity and has new plans up his sleeve for their upcoming face-off against . Flick was happy to take three points home but felt that the team only played at “50 per cent” intensity even after having the advantage of playing against nine men. The German coach claimed in the post-match conference that he was going to “work on some situations” for the upcoming games. With Flick’s recent appreciation for Rashford, who joined on loan after falling out of favour at , the 27-year-old can expect to start in the upcoming game.

Talking to the media about Rashford in the press-conference, the Barca coach said: “He gives us more options and he’s better as a winger, but his strengths lie in his first touch. I think we can have a fantastic Rashford this season.”
