- Trossard signs new أرسنال عقد
- Arteta calls deal deserved “recognition”
- Transfer links fade as winger commits future to Gunners
Trossard signed a new Arsenal contract earlier this month which will run until 2027 and includes a wage increase. The Belgian has been a consistent performer since joining the Gunners in January 2023, becoming a regular in Arteta’s squad. Despite rumours linking him with a summer exit, the extension has effectively ended that speculation.
Speaking to the media, Arteta said: “That situation has been resolved in a really great way and I think he deserves recognition, and we are very happy to have him.
“Well, it might be speculation. The good players always have options to go. Leo was very clear from the beginning that he wanted to go here, the club was very clear that they wanted Leo here, I was very clear that I wanted him here. At the end, good outcome.”
Trossard’s new contract arrives during a busy summer at Arsenal, with six signings already completed. The Belgian’s extension ensures stability within the squad as Arteta continues to reshape his team. Trossard has now been tied down and the Gunners are also looking at signing Eberechi Eze from كريستال بالاس.
The Gunners are expected to confirm the arrival of Eze from Palace over the weekend. The new deal means Trossard is likely to remain central to Arteta’s plans as the Gunners push for silverware. With speculation cooling, the focus now shifts to the الدوري الإنجليزي الممتاز حملة.
