- He aims to juggle with first-team career at Catalan giants
Cubarsi has confirmed he will leave the club’s La Masia academy residence and will soon begin studying for a university. Speaking to Esports 3 during Barcelona’s pre-season tour in South Korea, Cubarsi explained he is set to move into a flat in Barcelona with his sister, aiming for greater independence while staying close to his family. The centre-back, 18, revealed he has taken his university entrance examinations and intends to study Business Administration and Management this September. The highly-rated youngster joins Barcelona’s first team while balancing his football commitments and academic ambitions.
After several years living at La Masia, he is now looking to transition into independent living while remaining focused on his football development. Last season, the إسبانيا Under 23 international emerged as a regular first-team player under Xavi and kept his place under Hansi Flick, making 56 appearances and helping the club win a domestic treble.u0026nbsp;
Speaking on moving out from La Masia, Cubarsi said: “I’d still be able to stay at La Masia for another year, but now I’m trying to separate myself a bit, to be more relaxed, to live on my own. And I’ll become independent with my sister. In Barcelona, to be close to my family.”
Looking ahead, Cubarsi will start his degree in Business Administration and Management, subject to confirmation of his university placement. He continues to contest a starting spot under Flick at Barcelona. The defender’s new living situation may offer more stability and independence as he manages the demands of top-flight football and university studies.u0026nbsp;
