Fabrizio Romano has reported that Tottenham have initiated club-to-club negotiations with City for Savinho. The winger is willing to make the transfer, but a deal hinges on an agreement between the two sides. The Citizens are not actively pushing to sell, but will consider letting him go if the terms are right, with الرياضي claiming that the eight-time Premier League champions are looking at a fee of around £43m. However, Romanoreported later that the Citizens have already received the Lilywhites’ preliminary bid but are looking to hold out for a fee higher than £43m for the Brazilian.

Savinho only joined City from in the summer of 2024 and still has three years left on his contract. He featured 48 times for Pep Guardiola’s side last season, scoring three goals and providing valuable depth in attack in what was an under-par campaign.

Tottenham’s pursuit highlights Frank’s intent to add pace and creativity on the left wing ahead of the new campaign following Son Heung-min’s departure. Spurs are also said to have been in contact with ‘s highly-rated Nico Paz, with و also reported to be on his trail.
