Yann Sommer (Inter)
Ann-Katrin Berger (Gotham FC)

World Cup winner Martinez enjoyed another productive year with Aston Villa and is looking to successfully defend his best goalkeeper title, but he faces fierce competition from Paris Saint-Germain’s Champions League winner Donnarumma.
Alisson, Raya and Sels all caught the eye in the Premier League, while المغرب international Bounou is representing the Saudi Pro League as interest in that division continues to grow.
In the women’s game, Chelsea shot-stopper Hampton was the penalty shootout hero for إنجلترا as the Lionesses defended their continental crown in dramatic موضة at Euro 2025.
Barcelona star Coll is widely regarded as one of the best keepers on the planet, while ألمانيا international Berger produced one stunning save at this summer’s بطولة أوروبا to further highlight what she is all about.
Argentina international Martinez has claimed the Yashin trophy in each of the last two years – dating back to his World Cup-winning heroics for Argentina at Qatar 2022.
Liverpool No.1 Alisson was the inaugural winner in 2019, with Italian custodian Donnarumma and Real Madrid keeper Courtois having also taken first prize since then.
The glitzy Ballon d’Or ceremony will take place on Monday September 22, 2025 at the Theatre du Chatelet in Paris. UEFA has once again partnered with Groupe Amaury and L’Equipe as leading performers from across the globe see their remarkable achievements acknowledged.
