- Newcastle still want Wissa
- برينتفورد will sell striker on one condition
- Bees eye move for بورنموث نجم
وفقا ل ديلي ميل Wissa is still likely to leave Brentford this summer as the club have agreed to sell the forward. The Bees, however, want to buy a new attacker before allowing Wissa to leave. Brentford have already identified a replacement as they aim to sign Bournemouth’s Dango Ouattara.
The report adds that Newcastle are patiently waiting for Wissa’s arrival as the striker had earlier expressed his desire to join them. The Magpies expect to sign the DR Congo international for a transfer fee in the region of £35 million ($47m), although the Bees could hold out and demand more.
Brentford, on the other hand, remain confident of signing Ouattara from Bournemouth as the player wants to explore his options in the current window, according to journalist Mark McAdam. Ouattara, who joined from Lorient in 2023, still has three years left on his existing deal.
The 28-year-old also has offers from Saudi Arabian clubs Al-Nassr and NEOM, but Ben Jacobs claims that Wissa has his heart set on joining Newcastle as he wants to play in the دوري أبطال أوروبا هذا الموسم.
