- Fenerbahce send representative to London
- Jose Mourinho keen on Bissouma
- Asking price unclear
Per Yağız Sabuncuoğlu, Fenerbahce have dispatched an agent to north London to attempt to negotiate a deal to sign Yves Bissouma from Tottenham. Jose Mourinho is keen on the Spurs midfielder, and it appears negotiations have now begun.
There is no mention of how much Spurs are set to demand for the Mali international, but his contract expires next year. As a result, Fenerbahce may be seeking a cut-price deal as they attempt to strengthen their squad. Bissouma has already reportedly agreed personal terms.
Bissouma was a key player for Ange Postecoglou’s side last season as the club managed to win the Europa League, finally ending a 17-year trophy drought. He has clocked 100 appearances exactly for the club.
Spurs play their first pre-season friendly against Reading on July 19. It remains to be seen if Bissouma will play.
