Newcastle have agreed a deal to sign Ramsdale on loan from Southampton, per The Athletic. The Magpies will take the England international on a one-year deal with a sizeable loan fee, and the club will have the option to sign him permanently in the summer of 2026 for a significant fee. The news comes amid Liverpool’s pursuit of Alexander Isak, and fans have revelled in the news on social media, especially considering Southampton finished rock-bottom and conceded 86 goals in 38 games.
