- Juventus want to sell Kelly
- Bought him for €20 million in January
- Kiwior and Koulierakis possible replacements
Juventus are looking to recover the €20 million (£17m/$23m) they paid for the defender at the end of his loan spell form Newcastle, according to Gazetta dello Sport. The الدوري الإيطالي side have identified أرسنال‘s Jakub Kiwior and Wolfsburg‘s Konstantinos Koulierakis as ideal replacements for the centre-back, who has made 19 appearances for the Italians, including four at the Club كأس العالم.
Juventus signed Lloyd Kelly from الدوري الإنجليزي الممتاز side Newcastle متحد at the request of former coach Thiago Motta, primarily as cover for the injured Gleison Bremer, who missed the entire season. However, after Juventus’ دوري أبطال أوروبا exit to PSV, Motta was replaced by Igor Tudor and the English defender failed to convince the new coach. Tudor has asked general manager Damien Comolli to sell Kelly and reallocate the funds, specifically pushing for Randal Kolo Muani to be signed on a permanent deal from باريس سان جيرمان.
Kelly is not the only player Juventus are looking to offload, as the Italian side have placed Dusan Vlahovic on the market with ميلان interested in the player and midfielderDouglas Luiz who has attracted interested from Nottingham Forest.
Kelly will hope for a quick resolution of his transfer with 10 days to go before the start of the Premier League. Meanwhile Juventus will hope that English sides will come to sign him as they look to gain some much needed funds.
