- Forest make complaint to الدوري الإنجليزي الممتاز
- Spurs hoping to sign playmaker
Spurs launched an ambitious bid to sign Gibbs-White last week, triggering his £60 million ($81m) release clause. However, with Gibbs-White returning to training, Forest have made a legal complaint about the north London club’s ‘illegal approach’, according to The Sun’s Tom Barclay.

Forest have been riled by Spurs’ move, with reporting suggesting that a confidentiality clause was breached. It remains unclear, however, if Forest can actually block the deal, or if they will merely delay it.
Gibbs-White is now back in training and other reports have suggested that he has already undergone his Spurs medical, with the club just waiting for approval to rubber-stamp the deal. Whether that approval arrives swiftly remains to be seen.
Forest’s first pre-season fixture comes against Monaco on July 19. They will hope to have clarity over Gibbs-White by then.
