- Amorim urges unwanted players to secure exits
- Garnacho, Sancho, أنطوني and Malacia still await moves
- متحد seek stability before transfer window deadline
United are entering the final week of the transfer window with four high-profile names still seeking moves. Garnacho is wanted by تشيلسي, Sancho has spoken with الدوري الإيطالي clubs, ريال بيتيس remain keen on Antony, while Malacia has been priced at £4m. All four are training away from the main group at Carrington at the moment, but Amorim has claimed the ‘bomb squad’ need to find exits for themselves.
Speaking to the media, Amorim said: “I think again, I know that it is not a good thing to have players in this situation, but it’s clear they want to play in a different club, and that is clear.
“So we try to arrange everything for both parts to be happy, so I have to try to imagine to have the training with the guys that I think are going to be the future and the other guys are training and preparing for the next chapter.
“When the window is closed, it’s a different history, when the window is closed, we have to receive the players and in a new life, anything can happen.”
United’s summer has been marked by heavy investment, with more than £200m spent on Benjamin Sesko, Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo. Amorim also remains in the market for a midfielder and a goalkeeper. With Rasmus Hojlund now linked with ميلان, squad reshaping is still very much in progress.
The transfer window closes at 7 p.m. British Summer Time (BST) on September 1, leaving little time for the ‘bomb squad’ members to secure fresh opportunities. Amorim has said he will integrate them again if necessary, but their futures remain uncertain. United will hope to resolve their situations quickly to avoid further dressing room disruption.
