- Forest make €11m bid for يوفنتوس المدافع
- الدوري الإيطالي side demand €18m for the 22-year-old
- الدوري الإنجليزي الممتاز club recently signed Luiz
وفق كالتشيو ميركاتو Forest have once again turned to Juventus to sign another player this transfer window. After securing midfielder Douglas Luiz on a season-long loan with an obligation to buy, they have now set their sights on defender Savona. The Premier League club submitted an offer of €11m (£9m/$13m), but Juventus rejected it and have set an asking price of €18m (£15m/$20m) for the 22-year-old.
Forest’s interest in Juventus players is not new. Earlier in the window, they were linked with Timothy Weah and Samuel Mbangula, though neither deal materialised. Now they are back at the table, this time for Savona. A departure for Juventus’ academy graduate would give the Old Lady much-needed financial breathing room. The Serie A giants need to raise funds before pushing for new signings. Moves for targets, including Randal Kolo Muani, Edon Zhegrova, and Nahuel Molina, are on hold until someone heads out the door.
Making things trickier for Juve is Dusan Vlahovic’s situation. He is on a huge €12m salary and not part of Igor Tudor’s plans, but they have not been able to sell him. On top of that, they have been unable to find a club for Nico Gonzalez, who, despite receiving interest from Saudi Arabia, is yet to attract an official bid.
According to Nico Schira, right-back Savona already has the framework of a deal with Forest that would run until 2030, with a salary worth €2m per season. But until Juventus and Forest agree on the fee, the deal remains stuck.
Forest will likely return with an improved proposal as they continue talks with Juventus, with the transfer deadline nearing. For the Italian club, selling Savona could be the key to continue their own transfer business, but only if Forest come closer to their €18m valuation.
