The 22-year-old is one of the most promising talents coming out of Juve’s academy. The player is set to sign a six-year deal at Forest that will keep him at the club until 2031, according to journalist Gianluca Di Marzio. The الدوري الإنجليزي الممتاز side earlier signed Douglas Luiz on loan from the Turin-based club.
Savona broke through Juventus’ academy to join the first team last year. The player delivered some impressive performances, earning the trust of coach Igor Tudor. The Italian international made 28 appearances for the club last season, scoring two goals and providing one assist. Forest acted quickly to secure his signing, paying Juventus €13 million (£11m/$15m) in fixed fees plus €4m in additional bonuses. Juve also included a 10 per cent sell-on clause in Savona’s contract. Savona expressed that he is sad to leave Juventus but is ready for the new challenge.
When asked about his recent move to Forest, Savona said: “I’m happy and ready for this challenge. I’m sad to leave Juventus. I thank them, all the staff, the fans. For me, it will always be home. Is there a motivation to do well? Definitely. I haven’t spoken to any of my Italian team-mates who are there.”
Following the moves of Luiz and Savona, attention is now turning to Jonas Rouhi, who could be the next player to make a move, possibly to Forest owner Evangelos Marinakis’s Portuguese club, شارع ريو. Although Rouhi himself has not publicly commented on his future destination, initial negotiations have begun between the clubs as they work to advance the deal.
