- روما interested in two Man Utd outcasts
- In talks over Sancho move
- Another target has emerged
Reports by Fabrizio Romano state that the Italian giants have ‘made contact’ over a potential deal for Tyrell Malacia. The left-back is not part of Amorim’s plans and could arrive in Rome alongside Sancho, who is reportedly keeping Roma ‘on standby’ as he makes his decision about a move. It would be huge news for the Red Devils if they can get the pair off the books this summer.
Malacia was signed from فينورد in 2022 as Erik ten Hag’s first signing, but the Dutch full-back has spent the vast majority of his Old Trafford career on the sidelines with injury. At the age of 26, Malacia has made just 196 senior career appearances, just 20 in the last two seasons including an unconvincing loan spell with PSV for the second half of last term.
Romano said that Roma have ‘made contact’ for Malacia as an option at left-back. It was during talks for Sancho that Malacia was discussed as an option, with the left-back keen on the move. Besiktas are also interested in his services.
متحد continue to work on exits for the unwanted quartet of Sancho, Malacia, أنطوني and Alejandro Garnacho. It would be a significant boost if all four exiled players were to depart before the transfer deadline on 1 September. Garnacho has been targeted by تشيلسي while Antony reportedly has his heart set on a return to ريال بيتيس.
