According to Gazzetta dello Sport Bologna hope to use fellow Scotland international Lewis Ferguson’s influence to help persuade Miller to join the club this summer. However, Motherwell intend to field Miller against and remain firm on their £5m valuation, while Udinese are also looking at him.

Miller, the son of former Middlesbrough striker Lee Miller, made his senior debut for Motherwell at just 16. Last season, he featured in 39 matches, scoring four goals and registering eight assists, while also captaining the team. His standout performances earned him a call-up to the Scotland team, and he has attracted interest from top clubs including Liverpool, , and .

With nearing a deal to sign Dan Ndoye, Bologna should have no trouble meeting Motherwell’s asking price for Miller.
