- Lammens has moved to Manchester
- Travelled to إنجلترا without prior consent
- Antwerp left disappointed
Lammens joined متحد on deadline day from Antwerp in a deal worth £18m (€21m/$24.5m) plus £3m (€4m/$5m) in add-ons. Now, HLNclaims that the 23-year-old travelled to Manchester without prior consent from the Belgian club, having agreed personal terms with the Red Devils.
Lammens took a private jet to England to finalise his move, but Antwerp insist that the club had yet to reach an agreement with United, meaning that the goalkeeper should have waited in بلجيكا until the deal was deemed to suit all parties. As a result of his insubordination, there is “some resentment” at the club over how his exit came about.
United and Antwerp are said to have agreed to the finer points of the transfer while Lammens was in the air. Now, he will compete with Andre Onana and Altay Bayindir for the No.1 shirt at Old Trafford.
Lammens could be handed a ديربي-day debut, with United set to face مانشستر سيتي after the international break.
