- Galatasaray offered €75m for Osimhen
- Napoli cautious over financial terms despite agreement
- Turkish side eager to retain Nigerian after loan success
Galatasaray submitted a €75m (£63m/$86m) offer to Napoli for Osimhen. However, the deal has not gone through yet. According to Sky Sport Napoli requested additional financial guarantees, which the Turkish club have not yet provided. Despite the delay, both sides are working actively to reach a resolution.
Representatives from both clubs are currently in Milan, holding an extended meeting to try and move things forward. Galatasaray are keen to secure the Nigerian striker permanently after his successful loan spell, but Napoli are treading cautiously. This deal would be one of the biggest in Turkish football history, and the Yellow-Reds’ entire summer strategy hinges on it.
The 26-year-old was on loan at Galatasaray during the 2024-25 season and had an incredible run, scoring 37 goals and providing eight assists in 41 appearances. His performance convinced the Turkish giants to push hard for a permanent deal.
The next few days will be crucial. If Galatasaray can provide the guarantees Napoli is asking for, the deal could be completed quickly. However, if delays continue, Napoli may begin listening to other offers especially from الدوري الإنجليزي الممتاز clubs, where Osimhen has always been a target.
