After failing to find his feet in European football, Felix is looking to revive his career with a move to Saudi Arabia this summer. Al-Nassr got off to a flying start in the 2025-26 season as they registered a 5-0 win over Al-Tawoun, with Felix netting three goals and Ronaldo and Kingsley Coman also getting on the scoresheet.

After starring for his new club, Felix opened up on talks with Ronaldo prior to his move to the Middle East. The 25-year-old said, via Zone: “Ronaldo? You can see he’s building something here and doing his part in developing the project. He was one of the first to talk to me about coming here, and when he talked to me, I felt a wonderful moment and a beautiful feeling, and that helped convince me.”

Felix added: “I feel like this league is evolving a lot. Every year, more players come to play here. The project at Al Nassr is good and exciting. Of course, I want to help the team and the club as much as possible, score goals, provide assists, and help them win games. And most importantly, I want to help Al Nassr win championships. Wherever I am, I try to do my best. I try to help my team-mates help the club I represent. And I’m working on myself, working for the team. Because if the team does well, I do well too. We have great talents in attack who can score goals at any time. So, if we defend well, we can win almost every game.”

Felix has already settled into life in Saudi Arabia and has been impressed by the standard of competition. “It was easy for me to adapt. I’ve lived in many cities and countries. Riyadh is a huge city. Where I live is great for me, and this is a new stage in my career,” he said. “We played against و في . What I can say is that they have great players and special coaches. They are well organised and play beautiful football. They were very difficult matches.”

Felix will now hope to replicate his club form in international football as وجه و in back-to-back qualifiers on September 6 and 9, respectively.
