- Slipped down the pecking order at Man City
- Positive start to loan spell with the Toffees
- Hoping to land himself an إنجلترا recall
England international Grealish took on a new challenge with the Toffees during the summer transfer window. An initial season-long loan deal has been put in place, with the classy playmaker having found himself slipping down the pecking order at the Etihad Stadium.
Grealish has made an impressive start to life on Merseyside, with four assists being recorded as إيفرتون picked up two victories through their opening three games of the 2025-26 campaign.
Grealish has been selected as the standout performer in the month of August, with competition for the POTM prize from Riccardo Calafiori, Hugo Ekitike, Marc Guehi, إيرلينج هالاند, Joao Pedro, Antoine Semenyo and Dominik Szoboszlai being fended off.
It has been quite the week for Grealish, who celebrated turning 30 on September 10. Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall presented him with his award, saying: “Well deserved, الدوري الإنجليزي الممتاز Player of the Month.” Grealish said of landing that gong: “First one. I thought you were winding me up!”
Grealish will be hoping that lofty individual standards can be maintained in what is a كأس العالم year. He has failed to make Thomas Tuchel’s selections of late, but should force his way back into contention if continuing to catch the eye for the Toffees – with David Moyes’ side readying themselves for a return to action against Grealish’s former side أستون فيلا في.يوم السبت.
