- Son Heung-Min scored first goal in MLS
- Whipped free kick into the top corner
- Has contributed at least one goal in each of his first two starts
Son Heung-Min continued his strong start to life in Los Angeles, scoring a wonderful free kick in the first half of their Western Conference clash with نادي دالاس لكرة القدم. The Korean star stepped up from 25 yards out, and whipped a set piece up and over the wall, just beyond a helpless Michael Collodi, who could only watch the ball fly into the top corner.
Son has been immensely effective for LAFC in his short time at the club. He won a penalty off the bench in his first appearance, assisted in his second, and has now bagged his first goal in his third showing for the club.
The goal was just the second free-kick strike of Son’s career. His one before then came from توتنهام in the 2021-22 season.
LAFC’s next fixture is a Southern California ديربي with Western Conference leaders نادي سان دييغو لكرة القدم. It will, in all likelihood, be Son’s home debut for the club.
