- Nusa linked with Barcelona
- Could cost less than €40m (£34.6m)
- Barca looking at affordable targets
Nusa only signed for Leipzig from Club Brugge last summer but has reportedly become a target for the Catalan giants, as per Sempre Barca. The report states that the club are aiming to accelerate talks soon for the 20-year-old, who can operate from both wings and in attacking midfield. He could reportedly cost under €40 million (£34.6m/$46.8m).
Nusa’s price tag and likely moderate wage demands make him an affordable target for Barcelona, who still face financial constraints and are reportedly at odds internally regarding which direction the club should go in. Links with Marcus Rashford continue, though they missed out on Nico Williams, who signed a huge new deal with Athletic Club.
Nusa registered five goals and eight assists in 2024/25, the highest returns of his career so far. Leipzig could turn a profit of almost double on the young Norway international as a result, after they paid a reported €21m (£18.1m/£24.5m) for him last summer.
Nusa could soon secure a huge move to Barcelona if talks do accelerate, where he will play alongside fellow wonderkids such as Lamine Yamal, who celebrated his 18th birthday on Sunday in style, Pau Cubarsí and Pedri. Barcelona will be glad to get another high-potential face through the door but may still hope to make a marquee signing of the likes of Luis Diaz or Rashford this summer if their financial situation allows for it.
