Fabio Silva heading to Borussia Dortmund with €25m offer lined up for Wolves attacker

Borussia Dortmund are closing on an agreement with Wolves to sign forward Fabio Silva in a deal that could cost €25 million (£22m/$29m).

According to Sky , a deal is imminent as Dortmund have agreed personal terms with Silva on a contract until 2030 and are in advanced talks with Wolves.

Silva, signed from Porto for €40m (£34m/$46m) in 2020, struggled to make the expected impact at Wolves. He had loan spells at Anderlecht, PSV and before he was sent to Las Palmas last term, where he recorded 10 goals and three assists. Silva was also considered byRoma as a Plan B to Claudio Echeverri, but were knocked as he joined on loan from .

Dortmund are also set to announce the permanent signing of midfielder Carney Chukwuemeka and are close to finalising a loan deal for Aaron Anselmino from the Stamford Bridge club.

Dortmund will hope that with the signing of Silva it will bolster their team to mount a title challenge. For Silva it will be a step up from Wolves where he will be competing with Dortmund in the .
