- Juventus put Sancho talks on hold
- Deal won’t go ahead until winger exits
- Conceicao signed from Porto
According to Gianluca Di Marzio, Juventus have decided to put negotiations for Sancho on hold. Despite long-standing interest, the club are not pushing to close the deal. They’ve recently signed Conceicao from Porto for €32 million (£28m/$37m) and want sell at least one winger, with Nico Gonzalez and Timothy Weah on the chopping board, before any further additions.
Juve’s move for Sancho had seemed promising, but he could still end up at another الدوري الإيطالي side, with Inter are reportedly interested in signing him. مانشستر يونايتد are particularly eager to sell Sancho and fear they will still have the England winger and Antony on their books come transfer deadline day on September 1.
The 25-year-old English winger has not played a competitive match for متحد since September 2023 after his fallout with Erik ten Hag, and current boss Ruben Amorim has no interest in including him in the squad next season. Sancho, along with Alejandro Garnacho, Antony and Tyrell Malacia, has been made to train alone after 5pm by United.
Unless Juventus can offload one or more wingers, Sancho’s move is unlikely to progress. مرسيليا have reportedly reached an agreement with Weah, and if that deal goes through, Juve may resume talks with United later in the window.
