Yildiz has rejected transfer interest from both Bayern and Barcelona, choosing instead to stay at Juventus. According to Calciomercato the 20-year-old Turkish international has agreed in principle to a contract extension that will keep him at the club until 2030, with a significant wage increase to match his growing importance.

Yildiz has become the face of Juventus’ future. After impressing during the Club World Cup, scoring three goals and assisting two in just 251 minutes, he is being positioned as the centrepiece of the team’s long-term sporting and commercial projects. With many Bianconeri players reportedly up for sale, Yildiz is one of the few considered truly untouchable.

On his bond with Juventus and his long-term ambitions, Yildiz said in a recent interview: “Staying at Juventus for the rest of my life would be a dream for me.”

Reflecting on the unpredictability of football, he added: “But in football, you never know what can happen. I prefer to enjoy the present without thinking too much about the future.”

Speaking about the responsibility of wearing the iconic No.10 shirt, Yildiz explained: “It’s an honour to wear this number, but it’s me who plays, not the number on my back. The weight of the shirt is the same for everyone.”

The 2005-born Turk’s new contract is expected to be signed soon, with only minor formalities remaining. Once confirmed, Juventus will have secured a rising star amid growing transfer speculation. With Barcelona and Bayern now effectively shut out, the Bianconeri will look to build their future squad around the young winger.
