- ليدز have agreed personal terms with Milan’s Okafor
- The transfer is now pending an agreement on a fee
- Okafor had a strong pre-season with ميلان
Leeds have reportedly reached an agreement on personal terms with striker Okafor, according to a report from La Gazzetta dello Sport and Football Italia. The newly-promoted الدوري الإنجليزي الممتاز side is now focused on finalising a permanent transfer with Milan, who have yet to give their approval for the deal. The Rossoneri have been reflecting on the transfer, which would see Okafor leave San Siro after returning from a six-month loan spell at Napoli.
Okafor’s potential move to Leeds comes after he spent the second half of the 2024-25 season on loan with Napoli, where he won the الدوري الإيطالي title. The سويسرا international, who joined Milan from RB Salzburg in 2023, has scored a total of seven goals in 43 Serie A appearances for Milan and Napoli. He has been in impressive form during Milan’s pre-season, scoring three goals and featuring in their recent كأس إيطاليا win over باري. While بولونيا were previously in talks for his signature, they failed to reach an agreement with Milan.
Okafor faced ليدز يونايتد in a pre-season friendly in Dublin earlier in August, where he impressed for AC Milan in a 1-1 draw.
