- Gibbs-White to make £60m move
- Forest scouting for replacements
- Eyeing bid for McAtee
Per the Daily Mail, City are braced for a bid from Forest to sign McAtee this summer, after they agreed to sell Gibbs-White to Spurs. The north London club have triggered the England international’s £60m ($81m) release clause, and Nuno Espirito Santo’s side are ready to pay £25m for McAtee.
The 22-year-old, who captained England Under-21s to European Championship glory in the summer, has only made 18 الدوري الإنجليزي الممتاز appearances since making his debut in 2021. With just one year left on his deal, suitors are circling, and Forest face competition from across Europe; Fiorentina and Borussia Dortmund are also said to hold an interest.
McAtee is one of a couple of options for Forest, as the club are also considering a swoop to sign Brentford striker Yoane Wissa. They have made a bid for the forward, but have not met the Bees’ valuation.
Gibbs-White is set to complete his move to Tottenham on Friday. Forest will then aim to source a replacement.
