Following Guerra’s contract rejection, the club have set a €27 million (£23m/$31m) price tag on him, with فياريال reportedly retaining close to 30 per cent of his economic rights, according to Spanish outlet ماركا. United, who have shown the highest amount of interest in Guerra, had made a bid of €25m (£22m/$29m) for the player.
Guerra is among four players targeted for contract renewals by newly appointed Valencia CEO Ron Gourlay during the current transfer window. Christian Mosquera, also offered new terms, declined the proposal and has since joined الدوري الإنجليزي الممتاز جانب أرسنال. The other two players, Diego Lopez and Cesar Tarrega, remain in negotiations with the club as they seek improved conditions before committing to extensions.
Italian side ميلان are also in discussions for Guerra, viewing the Spanish midfielder as a potential alternative should their pursuit of كلوب بروج‘s Ardon Jashari fall through.
Guerra will now assess all his options before making his next move, with Valencia still hoping to tie him down to a new deal. It remains to be seen if United or Milan will return for him this summer.
