- Eze close to توتنهام يتحرك
- Played for Palace against تشيلسي on Sunday
- Previously linked with north London rivals أرسنال
وفق Sky Sport CH Tottenham and Palace are said to be in advanced negotiations as they look to thrash out the final details of Eze’s move to north London. The إنجلترا international is also thought to be of interest to Arsenal and played in the Eagles’ goalless draw with Chelsea on Sunday despite the speculation surrounding his future, seeing a stunning free-kick disallowed by the video assistant referee at Stamford Bridge.
Talks are thought to have advanced on Monday, with a transfer fee of around £60 million (€69.5m/$81.2m) expected to be agreed. Eze has already settled on personal terms with Spurs on a contract until 2030 and now looks set to join the الدوري الأوروبي holders and play دوري أبطال أوروبا football for the first time in his career.
The expiration of Eze’s release clause seemed to make Palace manager Oliver Glasner confident of keeping the 27-year-old, even claiming he would be available to play in their دوري المؤتمرات qualifier against Norwegian outfit Fredrikstad on Thursday. However, if negotiations go smoothly from here on out, Eze may well have played his last game for his current club.
Tottenham are in need of greater attacking midfield depth following the serious injury sustained by James Maddison, while Dejan Kulusevski is yet to return to action after missing the end of last season. Eze would feature regularly under Thomas Frank as he looks to book his spot on the plane to the 2026 كأس العالم with England, while Palace are said to be hopeful of bringing in Bilal El Khannouss from ليستر by way of replacement.
