But a move to north London isn’t guaranteed at this stage, dependent on the numbers involved and the conditions PSG would set for an initial loan.
Kolo Muani scored 10 goals in 22 appearances for يوفنتوس during a loan in the second half of last season, but the الدوري الإيطالي giants have been unable to persuade PSG to agree to a fresh season-long loan with €50 million (£43m/$59m) option to buy. That is most likely because, as Romano, revealed, the reigning European champions want an obligation to buy included in any deal, thereby guaranteeing an eventual permanent sale.
Spurs already have ريتشارليسون and Dominic Solanke for Thomas Frank to utilise in the number nine role, but the latter’s current minor injury absence has highlighted a potential fragility. Richarlison, meanwhile, missed the majority of last season through his own frustrating injuries.
Whether Spurs sign Kolo Muani or not will likely depend on how willing they are to accept PSG’s demands of an obligation clause. If no deal comes to pass, fans likely wouldn’t be that upset, given the wider level of attacking depth with Brennan Johnson, Mathys Tel, Mohammed Kudus, Xavi Simons, Wilson Odobert and, once fit again later in the season, Dejan Kulusevski.
