Spurs have confirmed the signing of Simons in a major coup for manager Frank. The club have spent the latter half of the summer chasing No.10s and tasted defeat in pursuits of both Eberechi Eze and Morgan Gibbs-White. Now, though, they have beaten تشيلسي to the signing of Simons in a major summer deal.
Simons arrives from Leipzig after a two-year spell in ألمانيا, initially on loan before his deal was made permanent in January. He made 78 appearances for the الدوري الألماني club, scoring 22 goals and registering 24 assists. A 22-year-old prospect, he aligns with Spurs’ recruitment policy and also answers their call for a James Maddison replacement, given his season-ending anterior cruciate ligament injury.
Simons came through برشلونة‘s academy and also played for باريس سان جيرمان, although he only made 11 first-team appearances for the latter. He has also won 28 caps for the هولندا, scoring five goals.
