While performing in Germany, Robbie Williams changed the lyrics to his iconic track 'Angels' in order to pay homage to Bayern Munich star Harry Kane.

Former Take That member Williams recently formed part of the pre-game show put on by FIFA ahead of the Club final. The 51-year-old is a huge football fan, with allegiance pledged firmly to his beloved Port Vale.

Williams is now out on the road taking in a tour of Europe. While passing through , he made a point of endearing himself to a few locals. A nod was also offered to the talismanic captain of England’s team.

When belting out fan favourite ‘Angels’, Williams opted to change the words of his legendary track to “I’m loving Harry Kane instead”. The prolific Bayern striker has been enjoying plenty of success in Germany himself.

Kane’s trophy curse was finally lifted in 2024-25 when landing the title. The 31-year-old frontman has also collected back-to-back Golden Boots in the German top-flight – hitting 85 goals in total for Bayern through 96 appearances.n

Kane will be hoping to collect more major silverware at club level in 2025-26, before giving Williams and England’s loyal fan base plenty to shout about when the Three Lions compete for World Cup glory next summer.
