Bayern Munich are preparing replacements for outgoing Kingsley Coman, with two Chelsea stars among their transfer targets.

According to Sky Bayern sporting director Max Eberl is not seeking a direct replacement for Coman but has identified ‘s Christopher Nkunku and Nicolas Jackson as potential signings. Nkunku’s agent Pini Zahavi, who also represents former Bayern winger Leroy Sane, could help the club leverage negotiations to bring the Frenchman to Munich. Other targets include ‘s Malick Fofana, Stuttgart’s Nick Woltemade, and ‘s Xavi Simons.

Bayern are set to undergo a complete restructure in attack, with Coman’s sale to Al-Nassr part of the overhaul. ‘s departure to and Jamal Musiala’s injury during the Club have left the squad short of attacking options. Bayern are close to dropping their pursuit of striker Woltemade,with negotiations at a standstill for weeks. Eberl says the deal is “off the table” while Stuttgart have insisted that if he is still at the club when the DFL-Supercup – against Bayern – kicks off on Saturday, he will not be sold this year. Bayern also face stiff competition for Simons, as Chelsea are also in the race for the Dutchman.

Bayern will hope to secure a deal for one of their targets in the final days of the transfer window, as the market heats up with the commencement of the 2025-26 season.
